- It is your responsibility to campaign. Except as noted below, CUPE Local 104 will not post or send information about candidates to our members on your behalf.
- You may not use employer resources (e.g. email, bulletin boards, photocopiers, etc.) to campaign for union elections.
- Shortly after the close of nominations, the elections committee will notify nominees of timelines for campaigning and send an email to all members eligible to vote in the election including:

- Nominee’s name
- Nominee’s work location (i.e. Province/Territory)
- One hyperlink, provided by the nominee, pointing to a website of the nominee’s choosing.
*NOTE* If you do not want your information circulated, you must clearly state this on your nomination form.
- Add @cupe104.ca to your trusted email recipients to ensure you receive any important information about the election from the elections committee.

There are many free online resources available for you to use when campaigning. For example, you could use social media accounts, groups, pages or websites to post information about yourself and your campaign. It is up to you to get your name out there and campaign. In order to ensure impartiality, CUPE Local 104 and its elections committee cannot assist with your campaigning.

There are many others out there and this list is just for example and is not an endorsement of these sites by CUPE or CUPE Local 104. You should do your own research and ensure you understand any terms and conditions before signing up.
